Jeep has expanded the Grand Cherokee lineup by unveiling the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which comes in with power featuring a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 707 horsepower, and 645 pound-feet of torque. There is also a special 25th Anniversary Sterling Edition Grand Cherokee which showcases Platinum Chrome badging, roof rails, 20-inch Heritage wheels, a 25th Anniversary badge, and platinum tow hooks. This special edition is only available on the Limited model. All of the new Grand Cherokee's have had entertainment upgrades, including a new high-res 7-inch screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an updated Uconnect radio system.

The standard engine in the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6, with up to 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. These standard Jeep models can tow up to 6,200 pounds. The heftier 5.7-liter V8 engine has 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque, and has the ability to tow up to 7,400 pounds. With the addition of the Trackhawk trim, there are now seven different trim models available for a more personalized experience. Laredo, the base trim, features a rearview camera and rear parking sensors, perfect for any safety concerns.
